These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hector platform ("Hector" or the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Hector is an AI-powered talent discovery and job opportunity introduction platform. It allows individuals seeking work ("Talent" or "you") to create a profile, be matched with relevant opportunities, and be introduced to hiring companies.

All hiring decisions are made solely by the companies. Hector's role is limited to facilitating introductions.
Beta Status:
The Service is currently offered in Beta, meaning performance, reliability, and features may change without notice.

You must update your profile when your circumstances change, including:

Hector uses proprietary AI technology to analyze your profile and match it with relevant job opportunities based on compatibility factors.
When a potential match is identified, you'll receive a notification. You can choose to accept or decline the opportunity.
No Guarantees:
We make no guarantees about the number, quality, or timing of matches. Results depend on various factors including your profile, market conditions, and opportunity availability.
When you accept a match opportunity, you authorize us to share relevant parts of your profile with the hiring company.

There is no exclusivity requirement. However, please update your profile status if you accept a position to avoid wasting companies' time.
Hector may match you with opportunities in different countries. If you're hired for an international position requiring relocation, you may be eligible for relocation support through Talent Journey's relocation platform.
In such cases:
Access to Hector's AI career assistance features requires a paid subscription.

Pricing is available at hectorheadhunter.com/pricing.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
No refunds are provided. All subscription payments are non-refundable. When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period, but no refunds or credits will be issued for partial months or unused time.
We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice via email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of new pricing. If you don't agree, you may cancel before new pricing takes effect.
We may occasionally offer free trials or promotional pricing. These offers are subject to separate terms disclosed at the time of the offer.
Your personal data is processed to operate the platform and facilitate job introductions.

All technology, systems, algorithms, design, methods, branding, and content related to Hector are the exclusive property of Talent Journey.
You receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the platform solely for personal job-seeking purposes.
Our technology is proprietary and confidential. You may not reverse engineer, copy, or attempt to replicate any aspect of the Service.
Hector is provided in Beta status and may contain errors, interruptions, delays, or other issues.

Because the Service is provided in Beta and is an AI-powered job matching service (not an employment guarantee), we limit liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

These Terms are in English. If translated, the English version prevails in case of discrepancies.

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law, excluding conflicts of law rules and the CISG.
Jurisdiction:
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Ponte de Lima, Portugal.
Dispute Resolution:
Before legal action, we both agree to attempt good faith negotiations for 30 days.
